who is surrendering?

While a spokesman for the government's Interior Ministry acknowledged yesterday that not a single weapon had been turned in since Maliki ordered the disarmament in the south, it seems like some dozens of the so called "Iraqi Army" soldiers has surrendered in the last couple of days. The the official spokesperson of Baghdad Operations Command admitted today that scores of the governmental soldiers are joining Al-Mahdi army or handing over their weapons to Al-Mahdi army.

This comes after one of the Arab Grand Ayatollahs in Iraq, Dr. Fadel Al-Maliki, ordered all Iraqis in the governmental armed forces to turn against the puppet government and refuse to fight their own people.

well, at least there is one Maliki that Iraqis are listening to.
